The Mona Lisa Project

Supporting women, fostering communty and growing together in South Sudan...

The Mona Lisa Project is a collaboration between the William Nyuon Foundation and House of Bany. With the vision to give hope, dignity and a brighter future for women, families and in South Sudan and contribute to building healthy communities that promote peace, tolerance and kindness towards others.

Located in Tong Ping area of Juba, the centre hosting the project includes a small café, market stands, The House of Bany Shop, space for tailors to work and teach the women, and a garden space for community events. Using a social entrepreneurship approach, the project will ensure sustainability using a percentage of profits to continue the programming.

Note: The Mona Lisa Project was closed 2017 due to the conflict in South Sudan but we hope to re-open in the near future.
